ABAKUS Mobile Particle Measurement System

ABAKUS mobile fluid particle counter is a portable system for measuring the number and size of particles in liquids and highly viscous media. It can cover a measuring range from 0.8 µm up to 150 µm. By using its various sensor options, the user can use it many applications, i.e., controlling the cleanness of drinking water, chemical and pharmaceutical solutions, the performance of filtration facilities, checking viscous liquids and hydraulic oils, etc. With this device you can measure directly from pressure lines up to 10 bar (315 bar on request) or direct from vessels using a special self-priming pump.

A LCD display in the unit shows the data collected and can be set up from a choice of up to 32 freely defined size categories. A printer allows the user to print the data collected.

Using the “Log and Show” software from Klotz, the measurement results can be exported to a spreadsheet for analysis. The software also allows direct measurement and storing. The particle counter has an automatic calibration function for in-house checking and calibration.
