3M™ Comply™ Steam Indicator Tape

• For over 25 years, this has been the chemical
  indicator of choice for steam autoclaves. It meets
  the requirement of BS EN867: 2001 and has a
  superior adhesive which adheres well to all types
  of wraps
• The chemical process indicator lines on the steam
  tape change to dark brown on a beige background
  when exposed to the steam sterilization process
• Tape stretches to minimize tape pop-off which
  reduces need for re-sterilization due to packs opening during processing
• Allows you to write on tapes or use preprinted 3M labels for ease of use and better record
  keeping

3M™ Comply™ Disposable Bowie & Dick Type Autoclave Test Pack

• Early warning feature of the Comply™ Bowie-Dick
  Plus Test Pack permits scheduled sterilizer  
  maintenance and prevents unexpected failures
  during peak work load times
• Test Pack consists of a steam-sensitive chemical
  indicator test sheet positioned in a compact
  package of porous materials which have moisture-
  impervious plastic layers at the top and bottom. 
  The porous materials are wrapped in a disposable
  nonwoven fabric and  secured with a steam
  indicator label
• Easy-to-read test sheet clearly identifies failures and can be filed for better record keeping.
  This sheet will turn a uniform dark brown/black color except when air removal faults such as
  air leaks occur. An air removal fault is indicated as a lighter-colored area in the center of an
  otherwise dark brown/black colored test sheet

3M™ Comply™ Steam Chemical Indicators

• Designed to monitor exposure to steam in a pack.
  Provides a visual color change to   validate that
  the sterilant has penetrated to the point of
  placement in the pack and confirm that sufficient
  exposure conditions have occurred
• Reliable, multi-variable indicator strips which offer
  a low-cost method of chemically monitoring the
  sterilization process that is both accurate and
  consistent
• Steam chemical indicator changes color from white
  to dark brown/black or as dark or darker than the
  color standard when exposed to steam sterilization conditions
• Perforated in the middle of the strip to allow length of indicator to be adapted to fit pack
  size

3M™ Comply™ Steam-Clox

• Sequential response, multi-variable indicators that
  react sequentially to the parameters of  
  sterilization, e.g. time, temperature and steam
• Complies with EN-867-1 (Class D Multi-Variable
  Indicators) and ANSI/AAMI ST 60 and ISO
  11140-1 standards (Class 4 Multi-Parameter
  Indicators)
• Monitors multiple parameters of time,
  temperature and presence of saturated steam to
  provide better accuracy of results
• Sequential indicator development from purple to green that provides indicates of
  insufficient, sufficient and overexposure. The 121ºC indicator has 4 color spots and the
  134^ºC has 3 color spots
• Dedicated indicators for specific cycles (121^ºC and 134^ºC) which allow for slower and
  specific endpoint timing
• Plastic coated indicator protects against ink transfer to items in pack

3M™ Attest™ Biological Monitoring Indicators

• 3M Attest™ Biological Monitors 1262P contain a
  Bacillus Stearothermophilus spore strip in a
  sealed glass ampule with modified Tryptic Soy
  broth growth medium and a bromocresol purple
  pH indicator system. The ampule is capped with
  a brown color-coded cap with holes for sterilant
  penetration and a hydrophobic filter as a
  bacterial barrier. A label bearing the date of
  manufacture of the Attest™ indicator and a
  process chemical indicator that turns from rose to
  brown when processed are also provided.
• Dry Spore strips contain spores of Bacillus stearothermophilus (derived from ATCC 7953)
  with a minimum population of 105 spores per strip.
• Easy to use and give a color-change result within 48 hours of processing. A color change to
  yellow indicates surviving spores and a positive result
• Meets requirements of EN866
• 3M Attest™ Biological Indicators are self-contained and therefore reduce the possibility of
  contamination
