Texwipe® TX714A Alpha Swab

• The swab head is made of double-layered
  cleanroom-laundered, knitted alphalite polyester.
  A long, rigid handle and large internal head
  paddle provide firm support to the swab head
  material. Perimeter edges heat-sealed to
  prevent fiber release
• Swab is autoclavable for sterile sampling
  requirements
• Soft and nonabrasive
• Silicon free
• Excellent chemical resistance
• No contaminating adhesives
• Good sorbency
• Ultra-low background levels of carbon coupled with low extractable levels provide a neutral
  background for the samples obtained
• High analytical recovery rates when spiked with control samples used in validation studies

Applications

• Sampling surfaces for TOC or cleaning validation in cleanrooms or environments where
  contamination control is required
• Ideal for use with a wide range of cleaning solvents such as IPA and solutions
• Lens cleaning
• Applying liquid/semi-liquid coatings to surfaces
